MRS. ISAAC WILSON
DIED ON SUNDAY;
FUNERAL TUESDAY

Mrs. Isaac Wilson, 65 years old, died at her home, 310 Main street, at 9 o'clock Sunday morning after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Snyder Brothers Chapel, conducted by Rev. Floyd Mulnax of Des Moines, with burial in Sugar Creek cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband, two sons, Ollie and Al Norman, and a daughter, Mrs. Luella Cummings of Kansas City, Mo. She had been a resident in and near Grinnell for 62 years. She was born in Spiceland, Ind., May 25, 1878, the oldest daughter of Alfred and Sarah Heacock and moved to Poweshiek county with her parents when she was 3 years old.

MRS. ISAAC WILSON

Mabel Angeline Heacock, daughter of Alfred W. and Sarah E. Heacock, was born May 25, 1878 at Spiceland, Indiana. While but a baby she came to their home on a farm southwest of Grinnell. There she attended school and also Penn Academy at Oskaloosa. She was united in marriage to Enos Norman of Powersville, Mo., on August 15, 1900. To this union were born three children, Anna Luella, Alfred Wright and Clarence Ollivett.

Later in life she became a member of the Pentecostal church. She was a good, loving mother, always ready to give a helping hand to everyone. Her husband preceded her in death.

She was married to Isaac Wilson of Grinnell in 1933. For the past two years she had been failing in health and passed peacefully away at her home, 310 Main St., Sunday morning, October 31, 1943 at 9 o'clock, at the age of 65 years, 5 months and 6 days. She leaves her husband, Isaac Wilson, one daughter, Mrs. Luella Norman Cummings and husband of Kansas City, Mo., two sons, Alfred Norman and wife of Grinnell, and Ollie Norman and wife of Tama; four grandchildren; two step-children, Mrs. Ruby Lee and Carl Wilson of Austin, Minn.; and three brothers, John O. Heacock of Twin Falls, Idaho, Arthur E. Heacock of Oskaloosa, and Ollivet W. Heacock of Sioux City. Her parents and four sisters preceded her in death. Her sister, Mrs. Etta Marshall, passed away three years to the day of her death.

Pallbearers were nephews: Raymond Poots, Earl McDowell, Leslie McDowell, Fred McDowell, Everette Williams, Will McDowell, Jr., Charles McDowell, Arthur McDowell.
