MRS. YEAGER,
RESIDENT HERE
35 YEARS, DIES

Mrs. Harry I. Yeager, resident of Grinnell for more than 35 years, died early this morning, Monday, Feb. 7, following a recent illness. She was 55 years old.

A former school teacher, Mrs. Yeager had been in ill health for some time.

Memorial services are indefinite but will be held at Smith Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on either Wednesday or Thursday. Rev. C.E. Kingsley will officiate.

Daughter of the late H.D. Wilson and Katherine Carson Wilson, Beulah Marie Yeager was born at Manning on Sept. 23, 1899. She came to Grinnell in 1919 and was a teacher in the Grinnell public schools for 15 years. Mrs. Yeager was a member of the Drummond Club and the Poweshiek chapter of the DAR.

She was married to Harry I. Yeager, retired Grinnell jeweler at Des Moines on July 11, 1948. They had spent much of their married life traveling.

Surviving are her husband, Harry of Grinnell; her mother, Mrs. H.D. Wilson of Massachusetts; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Dimit and Mrs. Alice Moran; and a brother, Harley G. Wilson.

Burial will be at Gilman cemetery.
