MARTHA WILLIAMS

Martha Lannom Parish Williams, 80, chairman of the board of Worth, Inc., formerly Lannom Manufacturing Co., died Thursday, April 13, in Tullahoma, Tenn.

Funeral services were conducted April 18, with burial in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens near Tullahoma.

A native of Trenton, Tenn., she was the daughter of George Sharp Lannom Jr., founder of Lannom Manufacturing, and Martha Louise Lamb Lannom. She attended Grinnell College and graduated from Iowa State University.

Mrs. Williams was a past president of the Tullahoma Women's Club and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Heritage Foundation and the P.E.O. She was a former high school librarian in Tullahoma and the school's newspaper.

She is survived by her husband, Robert M. Williams; a son, John L. Parish of Tullahoma; one daughter, Marty Ligon of Franklin, Tenn., and nine grandchildren.
