MARVIN STEFFEN

Marvin Henry Steffen, son of Henry and Wilma Howell Steffen, was born in Grinnell, Feb. 9, 1950 and died July 14, 1968, at the age of 18 years, 5 months, and 5 days.

He spent his life on a farm two miles west of Malcom. He received his education in the BGM schools, graduating from high school last May.

He attended classes of instruction in 1964 and 1965 and was received into membership of St. James Lutheran church, Victor, on July 30, 1965.

Funeral services were held July 17 at the Steffy Funeral Home, Montezuma. Rev. Edward Beckmann officiated and burial was in Ivy Hill cemetery at Malcom.

Pallbearers were Jim Howell, Roy Steffen, Mike Steffen, Lonnie Strong, Tom Howell, and Larry Steffen. Music was furnished by Alice Underwood.

Survivors include his parents and a sister, Ada Marie.
