DENNIS R. MILLER

A funeral Mass for Dennis Miller, 26, of Victor, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Brooklyn. Mr. Miller died Monday morning, October 8, 1979 near Brooklyn.

Rev. Fr. Karl Holtkamp, pastor of St. Patrick's, will be the celebrant of the funeral Mass. The organist will be Mrs. Francis Kriegel. Flower attendants are Mr. and Mrs. Dan McConnell and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Urfer. Casket bearers will be Rodney Thompson, Jim Davidson, George Hiner, Lyle Neuhaus, Roger DeGeeter and Duane Purdum. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Brooklyn.

A Rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Nevenhoven Funeral Home.

Dennis Ray Miller, son of William Truman Miller and Barbara Jean Richman Miller, was born on July 28, 1953, in Grinnell. He received his education in the Brooklyn schools. He served with the U.S. Army from Nov. 15, 1971 until his separation Nov. 7, 1974, and in the Army Reserves until 1977.

He was united in marriage to Janice Mary Kriegel on August 28, 1976, in Brooklyn. For the past two years they lived in Victor. Dennis was manager of the SIP Lumber of Victor. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Brooklyn.

He is survived by his wife, Janice; his son, Ryan; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Miller of Brooklyn; three brothers, Donald of St. Joseph, Mo., Delmar of West Branch, Iowa and Duane, at student at UNI, Cedar Falls; and three sisters, Mrs. David (Sandra) Ley of Lakota, Iowa, Mrs. Arthur (Sara) McNaul of Des Moines and Miss Susan Miller, a student at UNI, Cedar Falls.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
