MRS. JENNY BLUM
DIES IN GRINNELL
AFTER ILLNESS

Mrs. Jenny Blum, born in Germany on October 24th, 1880, died in her home in Grinnell on Tuesday, February 14th after a lingering illness.

The deceased was married to Elias Blum in Germany in August, 1910; the same year they came to America.

After they came to Grinnell in 1917, her husband became well-respected as a professor of music at Grinnell College, a position he held until his retirement.

She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Betty of Chicago.

Memorial services will be conducted at the James Funeral Home tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. with Professor L.P. Sherman in charge.
