LELA BLUE RITES
HELD TUESDAY

Lela M. Blue, 79, died last Saturday, May 22, of respiratory ailments at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell.

Funeral services for Lela Blue were held at the Caldwell-Brien-Robbins Funeral Home in Des Moines at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25. Burial was at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.

Born in Collins, Ia., Lela Blue has lived in the Des Moines area most of her life, until moving to Grinnell seven years ago with her son, Les Blue, and his family. She had lived at St. Francis Manor for the past three years.

Surviving are her four children, Eloise Blue, Mrs. Dorothy Bower, and Merelyn J. Blue, all of Des Moines, and Leslie Blue of Grinnell, and her eight grandchildren, three of Des Moines and five of Grinnell.
