MR. WILEY RITES TODAY

Dellmar B. Wiley, 83, of 1008 McClellan St., Tama, died Friday afternoon at his home of an apparent heart attack.

Graveside services for Mr. Wiley will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today at Hazelwood Cemetery, with the Rev. John C. Epperson of the Grinnell Christian Church officiating. Pallbearers will be C. Al Ahrens, Gary Maring, Harvey Martindale, Bill Wiley and Warren Wiley. Burial will be in the cemetery's Greenwood section.

Memorials in Mr. Wiley's name may be made to the Heart Fund.

The son of Henry and Ida Strong Wiley, he was born July 21, 1897, at Malcom. He attended Malcom schools.

On Dec. 31, 1919, he was married to Ethel Marie Schultz at Grinnell. Following their marriage, the couple lived in the Grinnell area. Mrs. Wiley died in 1952, and Mr. Wiley moved to Tama.

Survivors include his children, Lyle R. Wiley and Helene Ryan, both of rural Grinnell; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Wilma Neville of Malcom. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Blanche and Helen Wiley, Elizabeth Schruby and Edna Titcomb; and three brothers, Matt, John and Raynond Wiley.
