Mildred A. Cox Minnis, 74, a native of Ewart, died Oct. 21 at Redlands, Calif.
A memorial service was conducted Nov. 1 at the Presbyterian Church at Ewart, with the Rev. Glenn Hulsebus officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Township Cemetery, Ewart, with the Watts Funeral Home of Montezuma in charge of arrangements.
The daughter of Ernest Monroe and Margaret Hamilton Cox, she was born July 3, 1910, at Ewart.
Survivors include one son, Mark Minnis of Redlands, and five sisters, Irene Laughlin of Des Moines, Leona Tokle of Grinnell, Hazel Lynch of Lake Iowa, Texas, Helen Hinojos of Redlands Pauline Holtz of Waukee.
