PHYLLIS THORNBURG

Phyllis Margaret Clayton Thornburg, daughter of Walter R. and Hazel Hall Clayton, was born near Brooklyn on December 21, 1924. Phyllis entered into rest on Friday, Jan. 31, 1986 at Tacoma, Washington. She was 61 years, 1 month, and 10 days.

Mrs. Thornburg received her education in and near Brooklyn and Cincinnati Bible Seminary, Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was united in marriage October 23, 1943 to John Thornburg. They have made their home in Tacoma, WA the last eight years.

She is survived by her husband, John, two sons and wives, Clayton and Lynn and Kevin and Crys, of Tacoma; a daughter, Sandra Michael of Virginia and six grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Bill and Max of Brooklyn, and three sisters, Marjorie of Tacoma, Norma of Marion and Joan of Tama.
