DEATH SUMMONS
MRS. EMMA JAMES

Mrs. Emma James, mother of Mrs. Frank Clindinin of this city, passed away at the home of her brother William Knight in Laconia, New Hampshire Saturday evening according to word received here. Mrs. Clindinin left for Laconia Saturday noon upon haring of her mother's serious illness, and reached there yesterday noon. The body will probably be brought here but not for a week, and no funeral arrangements have been completed as yet.

Mrs. James was 83 years old, and lived in Grinnell for over 50 years. She went to Laconia to lived with her brother about five years ago, and has not been very well for several years. She was well known and liked in tis community, and her many friends will be sorry to hear of her death.

FUNERAL SERVICES
FOR MRS. JAMES

Short funeral services for Mrs. George James will be held Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Clindinin 1402 Summer street, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Clindinin will arrive with the body Wednesday morning. Rev. Robert Inglis will have charge of the service and interment will be in Hazelwood. Mrs. James died Feb. 10, at Laconia, New Hampshire.
