WILLIAM M. WILSON,
FORMER GRINNELLIAN,
STRICKEN IN NEWTON

W.M. Wilson, a Grinnell resident many years ago and father of Lawrence M. Wilson and Mrs. R.V. Bailey of Grinnell, died of a heart attack Saturday night at his home in Newton, aged 59 years. He had been watching television earlier in the evening at the home of his brother and collapsed as he entered his own home. He was a machinist employed at the Parsons company.

After leaving Grinnell Mr. Wilson went to Peoria, Ill., to live, coming to Newton eight years ago.

In addition to Mrs. Bailey and Lawrence he is survived by his wife, a son Robert of Peoria, eight grandchildren, four brothers, one sister and his mother, Mrs. Jennie Wilson, also of Grinnell.

Funeral services will be held in Newton at 2 p.m. Tuesday with burial in Hazelwood cemetery here.
