LOCAL WOMAN DIES AFTER
CRASH AT RURAL INTERSECTION

MRS. EVA ALMY IS
ON TWO-CAR CRASH

FUNERAL TODAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Almy were held this afternoon (Monday) from the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Leland Mann of the Congregational church officiating. Music was furnished by Elbert Smith.

Pallbearers were Grant Gale, Russell George, Sherely Eichhorn, Lehrl Fritz, Lawrence Pedersen and Peter Morton. Burial was at Hazelwood cemetery.

She was born the daughter of John and Ellen Francis Atwood McReynolds on January 10th, 1869 at Fennimore, Wis. On September 14th, 1892, she was married to Frank F. Almy at Ashland, Neb.

To this union were born three children: Mrs. Everett (Winifred) Martin, of Fort Dodge, and Frank and Donald Almy, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Frank McReynolds; and a sister, Maude McReynolds.

Other survivors include a brother, Frank McReynolds of Allenspark, Colo. and five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Almy had come to Grinnell from Ashland, Neb. about 66 years ago. She was a member of the Congregational church and had formerly belonged to the Drummond Club, the Thursday Club, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
