NEE IDA PILGRIM, DIES
IN CALIFORNIA MAY 24

Mrs. Ida A. (Pilgrim) Sears, wife of Guy W. sears, formerly of Grinnell, resident of Detroit, Michigan, passed away Sunday, May 24, 1953 at the Glendale Sanitarium and Hospital in Glendale, California. Mrs. Sears was the daughter of William M. Pilgrim and Mable (Gregson) Pilgrim, long-time residents of Grinnell. Funeral services were held in Santa Monica, Calif., on May 28, and further services at Northville, Mich., June 2. Interment is at Brighton, Mich. in the family burial plot beside the tombs of her parents. She is survived by her brother, Vernon M. Pilgrim, of Santa Monica, Calif., and husband Guy W. Sears of Detroit, Mich. Mr. Sears was connected for many years with the Spaulding Manufacturing company of Grinnell.
