RITES HELD FOR
MAY DRAKE, 71Funeral services for Mrs. May Drake, 71, wife of Charles Drake of Brooklyn, were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Nevenhoven Funeral Home, Brooklyn.
Mrs. Drake died Tuesday, Mar. 12, in the Brookhaven Nursing Home, where she had been a patient.
The Rev. Richard Menzel, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church of Brooklyn, officiated, and burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
The daughter of Arthur and Kate Gritsch Willett, she was born Nov. 21, 1902, on a farm south of Brooklyn. She received her education in rural Brooklyn schools. She was formerly employed by the Wagner Grocery Store in Brooklyn.
On April 15, 1949, she was married to Charles Drake, who survives her. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Glenn Willett.
