LOIS I. DRAKE, 81

Lois Irene (Fish) Drake, 81, of Stratford, formerly of Brooklyn, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, at Hamilton County Public Hospital, Webster City.

Her funeral was Dec. 5 at Nevenhoven Funeral Home, with burial in Kent Cemetery. The Rev. Rod Rindahl officiated. Pallbearers were Danny Drake, Daryl Drake, Robert Drake, Roger Drake, Richard Drake and Mike Kelly.

Lois was born June 20, 1920, in Newton, the daughter of William and Jessie (Atwater) Fish. She graduated from Montezuma High School.

On Aug. 21, 1948, she married Donald Drake in Newton, They lived in Des Moines and Malcom, then settled in Brooklyn.

She became a resident of Stratford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in 1991.

She belonged to the Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Drake of Stratford; five sons, Danny (Linda) Drake of West Valley City, Utah, Daryl (Diane) Drake of Boone, Robert (Maratha) Drake of Pueblo West, Colo., Roger Drake of Glenmora, La., and Richard Drake of Lawton, Okla.; two daughters, Donna Kelly and Carolyn Drake, both of Boone; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
