Grace Louise (Sheetz) Hartson, 71, of Montezuma, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, March 4, 2007, following a short illness.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 9, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. Private interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her companion of 17 years, Charles McFadden of Montezuma, brother Chester Sheetz, Jr. of Chicago, and sisters Mildred Tristani and Nancy Dowd, both of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ernest Hartson; two brothers, Don and Merton; and two sisters, Helen Meshling and Ora Mae Cozart.
A memorial fund has been established in Grace's honor.
