--Jno. Boyle and daughter, Mrs. Clint Jones, went to Farmington, Ill., last week to attend the funeral of W.O. Cadwallader, a brother of Mrs. Boyle's. Mr. Cadwallader and wife had just gone to California to spend the winter in the hope of benefiting by the milder climate. Although never sick his health has not been vigorous for a few years and the past two winters were spent in California on that account. He attended to his official duties as member of the board of equalization at Springfield the first three days of Christmas week, leaving for the west on Christmas eve, and died in Los Angeles on Dec. 31. He was seventy-three years of age.
