ELLA UPCHURCH SERVICES HELD

Ella C. Upchurch, 84, of Kent, Wash., a former Grinnell resident, died at her home Friday, Dec. 18.

Funeral services were conducted on Dec. 22 at the Edline-Yahn Funeral Chapel in Kent, with burial in Hillcrest Burial Park, Kent. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

A native of Grafton, Iowa, she was born on July 1, 1903. She moved to Kent from Los Angeles where she had lived from 1973 to 1981.

Mrs. Upchurch is survived by three sons, Richard and Robert of Kent and Allan of Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Elinor Willcockson of Los Angeles; a brother, Harvey Glassel of Manly, Iowa; two sisters, Myrtle Rusely of Manly and Lillie Wren of Mason City; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
