Wynona Elizabeth Paisley, 83, of Grinnell died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center following a sudden stroke.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Aug. 20, at 10:30 a.m. in the Carman Center at Mayflower.
She was born Jan. 27, 1924, in Kennett, Mo., to Effie and Otto Rich. She moved to California in high school where she met her husband of 28 years, James William Paisley.
She was a member of the staff at Brenton Bank for approximately 30 years, ending her career there as assistant vice president. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Grinnell Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, and a founding member of the American Business Women's Association. She enjoyed sewing, bridge games, cooking and making jewelry.
She is survived by two sons, James Paisley and Carl Paisley; one daughter Sharon Olson and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and four siblings.
