MRS. NEFF'S FUNERAL
CONDUCTED FRIDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Neff, 90, were held last Friday afternoon at two o'clock at Bramer Funeral Home with the Rev. C.W. Woollard of Grace Methodist church officiating. Leo Shuler was organist.

Interment was in I.O.O.F. cemetery. Pallbearers were E.L. Montgomery, Floyd McAllister, Maynard McLain, Harley Burch, J.A. Warfel and Warren Carpenter. Flower attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Homer Ryan.

Eva Mae Kettlewell, daughter of George W. and Hannah Kettlewell, was born April 9, 1873, at Iowa City, and died Feb. 12, 1964, at the Happy Hour Rest Home in Grinnell where she had lived since 1961.

She was married to Frank Leslie Neff April 10, 1901, at Carson, Iowa. Following her marriage she came to Brooklyn to live. For many years Mr. and Mrs. Neff had owned and operated a restaurant and bakery in Brooklyn.

Mrs. Neff was a member of Grace Methodist church, Chapter AK of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, Delta Gamma sorority and was a Gold Star Mother of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by a daughter and son, Mrs. Edith Swanson of Chicago, Ill. and Robert L. Neff of North Muskegon, Mich. She also leaves two grandchildren, Richard Neff and Katharine Neff, and nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were three children: George Joseph, Grace Katherine and Howard Johnson Neff, the latter a World War II casualty. Mrs. Neff's family, brothers and sisters, had all preceded her in death.
