DIES AT 88Mr. Warren Shaul, 88, of 902-1/2 Fifth Ave., in Grinnell, died early this morning at Community Hospital.
A native of Williamsburg, Mr. Shaul was born to John and Nancy Shaul on May 24, 1878. He attended school in Williamsburg.
Mr. Shaul married the former Augusta Hunemiller on Nov. 21, 1916. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Des Moines where Mr. Shaul was employed by the Meredith Dairy as a dairy herdsman.
In 1924, Mr. and Mrs. Shaul moved to Grinnell where Mr. Shaul was associated with the former Swaney Dairy.
Mr. Shaul was a member of the United Church of Christ (Congregational) in Grinnell.
Survivors include one son, Glenn Warren Shaul of Fergus Falls, Minn., and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife who died Nov. 19, 1961; five brothers - John, Charlie, Grant, Sherman and Howard; and one sister - Jennie.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Newell Davis, of the United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery.
Organist will be Mrs. Kathleen Heffner. Pallbearers will be Clair Strand, Harry Ritter, Edd Phillips, Noel Taylor, Eugene Holmes,, and D.M. Reynolds.
