BERDINE WARNER

Berdine Warner, 69, of rural Mingo, formerly of Grinnell, died Monday, Dec. 25, en route to Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday morning at the Mingo United Mehtodist Church, with the Rev. Karen Nichols Dungan officiating. Burial was in Newton Union Cemetery, with the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The daughter of Carl T. and Merle Parsons Snyder, she was born Oct. 20, 1920, in Jasper County. She was a 1938 graduate of Grinnell High School. She was married to Carroll E. Warner Feb. 14, 1943, in Grinnell.

Mrs. Warner was a graphologist and questioned documents analyst. She had worked for GTE in Grinnell and at the former Community Hospital here. She had been secretary for the Kellogg Elevator and an accountant for two construction firms. She had also worked for the Jasper County ASCS.

Surviving are her husband, Carroll; one son, Craig of rural Mingo; a daughter, Susan Garner of Altoona; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
