MRS. HUTSON SERVICES HELD

Lillian Alberta Hutson, 94, a native of Poweshiek County, died May 4. Burial was at a family plot in Long Beach, Calif.

The daughter of William H. and Margaret M. McKinney Davidson, she was born March 16, 1885, on the family farm in Poweshiek County. She had lived in Coronado, Calif., since 1947.

Survivors include her sister, Bessie Bolander of Richland, Wash.; a son; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hutson was employed for awhile as a typesetter for the Grinnell Herald in the early 1900s. She was active in the United Presbyterian Church and served as organist. She married Ross Hutson of Boone in 1907. The couple lived in Iowa, Washington, Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming.
