DOROTHY MORANVILLE

Graveside services for Dorothy Moranville, 69, of Grinnell, who died of a heart attack July 25 at Grinnell Regional Medical Center, were conducted Friday at Our Silent City Cemetery near Kellogg.

The Rev. M.W. "Mike" Johnson, pastor of the Kellogg Christian Church, officiated. The Smith Funeral Home of Grinnell was in charge of arrangements.

She was born July 23, 1926, in Perry, the daughter of Fred and Mildred Wells Parker. She received her education in Perry.

Mrs. Moranville had lived in Grinnell for the past 25 years, working for the former Grinnell General Hospital and for Grinnell college.

She is survived by one daughter, Sheryl Van Zee of Newton; four sons, Gary of Des Moines, Martin of Lansing, Kan., Clifford of Medford, Ore., and Ron of Malcom; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dean Parker of Jamaica, Iowa, Robert Parker of Julian, Calif., and Joe Parker of Marshalltown; and one sister, Maxine McGuigan of Mesa, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, three brothers and one grandson.
