BARBARA SEUBERTH
BURIED AT OSKALOOSA

Miss Barbara Seuberth passed away at the home of her brother, Mr. Samuel Seuberth, early Friday morning. She had been ill for several months but her passing was unexpected to her relatives and many friends. Miss Seuberth was born at Zanesville, Ohio, Dec. 23, 1858, and passed away at Grinnell, Iowa, Nov. 29, 1929.

She came to Grinnell with her parents in 1862 and with the exception of about twelve years she has spent her entire life in Grinnell.

Miss Seuberth was a remarkable woman, unselfish in her devotion to her relatives and friends. She was a devoted follower of the Catholic faith. She and her brother Samuel have made their home together since the death of their parents; and with them in their home have been Miss Anna E. O'Brien of this city, Samuel O'Brien of Chadron, Neb., and William O'Brien of Tacoma, Wash.

Miss Seuberth is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Mary Pflaum of Lyonsville, S.D., Mr. John and Samuel Seuberth of this city, Mrs. George Downing of Marshalltown and Miss Jerry Lynch of Oskaloosa.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic church of Grinnell with Reverend Father Hannon officiating. Burial was made at Calvary cemetery at Oskaloosa. Pallbearers were Martin Flannigan, Ed Lynch, J.A. Page, D.M. Reynolds, W.L. Corrough and Philip Streck.
