OBITUARY.
---------------

MRS. WILLIAM BRADSHAW.

Lulu Clementine Valantine was born July 27, 1871, at Hopeville, Ia., and died July 13, 1917. On June 19, 1895, she was united in marriage to William G. Bradshaw, to which union were born two children, Mrs. Lela C. Fister and one son, Walter, who died in infancy. In early life she united with the Church of Christ in Osceola. On coming to Grinnell and finding no Church of Christ, she united with the Baptist church until the organization of the Christian church some years ago.

In her death the community and church lose a kind helper and friend, and the home a devoted wife and mother.

In sickness she was patient, and of seemingly inexhaustable vitality. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn loss, her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Fister, and one son by a former marriage, Harold W. Tedford of Cordona, Alaska; two brothers, Lucius C., of Storm Lake, and Charles, at home, and one sister, Mrs. F.E. Conquest of Cottonwood Falls, S.D.
