RITES HELD FOR
FAITH E. WILLARD

Miss Faith E. Willard, age 87, of 2663 Tallant Road, Santa Barbara, Calif., died in a convalescent hospital Feb. 10, after a long illness.

Miss Willard was born in Grinnell July 6, 1894. She was the daughter of William O. and Emma Shaw Willard, pioneers of Grinnell. Her parents were in the commercial nursery business in Grinnnell.

Miss Willard was a member of the First Congregational Church in Grinnell and was active in the D.A.R. She attended Grinnell College and New York State Nursing School. In 1950 she moved to California from Grinnell and settled in San Marino, Calif. In 1957 she moved to Santa Barbara to make her residence.

Survivors include a sister: Mrs. Willis B. Kyle Sr., of Fresno, Calif., plus several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 13, in the First Congregational Church, Fresno. Calif. Burial will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery, Grinnell, in the family plot.
