BARBARA J. KOOGLER

Barbara Jolley Koogler, 44, Oskaloosa, formerly of Grinnell, died June 5 in Oskaloosa, as the result of an automobile accident.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 10, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Oskaloosa, with burial at Bloomfield Cemetery near Oskaloosa. Memorials may be made to the fund for an Oskaloosa community auditorium.

The daughter of Ray and Joy Bates Jolley, she was born in Grinnell. She had taught in the Oskaloosa Community School District for the past 20 years, most recently as a second grade teacher. She was a member of Chapter NN, P.E.O., and the Iowa State Education Association.

She is survived by her husband Don; her stepdaughter and stepson, Kimberly and J.D. Koogler, both of Oskaloosa; her parents, also of Oskaloosa, and her aunt Barbara Bates Howell, Grinnell, whose namesake she was.
