EDWIN PETERSON

Edwin M. Peterson, 80, of Fairfield Bay, Ark., a retired maintenance supervisor for the former General Telephone Co. here, died Sunday, Dec. 4, at Central Arkansas Hospital in Searcy, Ark.

He was the son of Bernard M. and Clara Cecile Fowler Peterson. He had been a Fairfield Bay resident for eight years.

Mr. Peterson was a Mason and member of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was also a member of the Elks Club, the Fairfield Bay Lions Club and the Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma, in 1972.

Surviving are his wife, Wanda; two sons, Gene of Holiday Island, Ark., and Donald of West Covina, Calif.; two stepsons, Clair McGriff of Cedar Rapids and Larry McGriff of Redondo Beach, Calif.; one brother, Leland of Shelby, Neb.; one sister, Virginia Haskins of Osceola, Neb.; four grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

Memorials in his name may be made to the Fairfield Bay United Methodist Church or the Fairfield Bay Lions Club.
