Obituary dated Nov. 15, 1932

A PIONEER OF BROOKLYN PASSES

Dr. and Mrs. E.F. Talbott and Helen, Dave Talbott and Mrs. Eldon Olds went to Brooklyn Saturday to attend the funeral of Mrs. E.F. Talbott's sister, Mrs. W.W. Shannon, who passed away at her home there last Thursday morning, aged 76 years. Mrs. Shannon and her husband were pioneer residents of Brooklyn and Mr. Shannon survives his wife at the age of 82. He was a county supervisor at the same time that John Manly was a member of the board and he and his wife have been much loved and highly respected during their long life in the county.

Mrs. Shannon is survived by her husband and two children, Mrs. Mabel Whitney of Fort Collins, Colo., and Mrs. Ion Torrance of Brooklyn.
