MABEL MACY RITES PENDING

Mrs. Mabel Blair Macy, former Grinnell resident, died Monday in Brighton, Colo., at the age of 85.

Burial will at Lynnville, with the date pending.

She was a member of the C.A. Blair family of Grinnell. Survivors include her son, Blair Macy of Keenesburg, Colo.; her sister, Mrs. Helen Blair Hammond of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and a brother, Alexander Blair, also of Thousand Oaks.

She was a sister-in-law of Mrs. Earl Macy of Mesa, Ariz., and the Howard Macys of Lynnville.

Mrs. Macy and her husband, the late Roscoe C. Macy, were graduates of Grinnell College in 1914. Her degree was in music, and she received Phi Beta Kappa honors.
