MRS. CARRIE B. EUSDEN IS DEAD
One of Grinnell's Good Women Passes Away Friday Night; Funeral Services Are Today
Mrs. Carrie Bater Eusden, wife of Mr. H.J. Eusden, died at her late residence, 311 Fourth avenue, on Friday night, August 31. At the time of her death she was in her sixty-ninth year. Mrs. Eusden was born in Millburn, Ill., where she made her home until her marriage to Mr. Eusden. Following her marriage she lived in Marne, Ia., for seven years, and since 1920 she has lived at her late residence in this city.
Mrs. Eusden, was active in the Woman's Association of the First Congregational church, and was a member of the Searchlight club. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Carolyn, of Chicago, Ill.; and two stepsons, Ralph B. Eusden, physician in Long Beach, Calif., and Ray A. Eusden, minister of the Eliot church of Newton, Mass.
Funeral services were held in the First Congregational church this afternoon. Interment was made at *Lake Forest, Ill.
