OLIVE KROME DIES AT 91

Olive Catherine Krome, 91, of the Brookhaven Nursing Home in Brooklyn died early Thursday, Dec. 19, at the nursing home.

Entombment in the Oak Grove Memorial Mausoleum at St. Louis, Mo., took place on Dec. 20.

The daughter of Louis and Catherine Corcoran Jeffray, she was born on Sept. 4, 1894, at Glen Carbon, Ill. On June 17, 1919, she was married to Alfred C. Krome at Chicago, Ill., where she lived until her husband's death in 1927. Mrs. Krome then lived in St. Louis, where she worked for the Internal Revenue Service in the personnel department.

She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Women's Shrine of St. Louis.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Boat of Grinnell; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband.
