LINDA SISSON

Linda Clement Sisson, 53, of Waco, Texas, formerly of Grinnell, died of cancer Friday, Nov. 9, at Quality Care in Waco.

Her body was donated to Texas A&M University Medical School.

A prayer service and burial will be at a later date at Sugar Grove Cemetery near Newton.

The daughter of John W. and Lillian L. Roberts Clement, she was born Jan. 14, 1948, in Des Moines. She attended school in Altoona, and she moved to Grinnell in 1966.

She was married to Norman "Jay" Sisson April 17, 1969, in Blair, Neb. She was married to Harold Porritt March 2, 1984, in Quebec, Canada. She moved to Waco in 1983 and was employed by West Telemarketing.

Surviving are her father; two sons, Todd Sisson of Springdale, Ark., and Shad Sisson of Grinnell; one daughter, Brandi Landuyt of Colfax; one brother, John Clement Jr. of Mitchellville; and three grandchildren.

Her mother preceded her in death.
