MRS. B.J. RICKER; FORMER RESIDENT; DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Word has been received of the death at Berkeley, Calif., of *Mrs. B.J. Ricker, formerly of Grinnell.

A resident of Grinnell for many years, Mrs. Ricker came here with her husband, Benjamin, as a bride in 1898. The Rickers moved from Grinnell to California several years ago and in 1948, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their Berkeley home.

Mrs. Ricker was preceded in death by her husband and her son, Edward, killed in World War II.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth of Berkeley, and two nieces, Mrs. E.S. Parish and Mrs. J.W. Gannaway, both of Grinnell.
