FORMER RESIDENT BELLE SULLIVAN DIES DEC. 27TH

A former resident, Mrs. Belle Sullivan, 77, Des Moines, died suddenly in Des Moines Dec. 27 while visiting friends.

Born Nov. 6, 1884, in Grinnell, she was the daughter of Fred and Alice Stocker Kepcke. She attended the Grinnell public schools and later worked as a practical nurse. In 1908, at Grinnell, she was united in marriage with Randolph Sullivan.

Mrs. Sullivan had lived in Des Moines for several years and was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include three sisters and three brothers: Mrs. George Williams of Grinnell, Mrs. Helen Clapp of Davenport, Mrs. Florence Powers of Clearwater, Fla., Carl Kepcke of Joliet, Ill., Paul Kepcke of Marshalltown, and George Kepcke of Little Rock, Ark.

Her husband preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon from the Smith Funeral Home with Dr. G.S. Bruland, minister of the Methodist church, officiating. Organ music was provided by Mrs. Esther Auman.

Pallbearers were Verlin Adkins, Joseph Arney, Harlan Dare, Edwin Pedersen, Donald Williams, and James Wisecarver. Interment was in Hazelwood cemetery.
