MRS. DUNTON RITES HELD

Blanche Dunton died Dec. 19 at the Brookhaven Nursing Home in Brooklyn. She was 80 years old.

Funeral services for Blanche Dunton were held on Thursday, Dec. 22, at the Nevenhoven Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Pierce in charge of the services. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

The daughter of Frank and Minnie York Negus, she was born on July 22, 1897, in Rock Island, Ill. She received her education in Rock Island, and later moved with her parents to Brooklyn.

On April 16, 1919, she was married to Guy Dunton of Brooklyn. The couple had one daughter, Mildred. On April 16 of this year, the couple had celebrated their 58th anniversary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Helen; one sister, Grace Holloway; and a brother, Clarence Negus. Surviving her are her husband; her daughter, Mrs. Don (Mildred) Sowerwine; and a sister, Mabelle Lerch of California.
