CHARLIE RAINSBURG DIES.

Messages were received in Brooklyn on last Thursday announcing the death of Mr. C.T. Rainsburg, a former resident and merchant of Brooklyn.

Mr. Rainsburg was born in Brooklyn on May 13, 1869, and died in Kansas City, Mo., on Dec. 10, 1919. He was educated in the Brooklyn schools, graduating therefrom in 1887. Immediately after his graduation from school he purchased an interest in a drug store in Brooklyn and was thereafter continuously engaged in the drug and jewelry business in Brooklyn for more than twenty-three years. He removed with his family to Kansas City in 1910.

On July 23, 1891, Mr. Rainsburg was married to Miss Eva Dorrance, daughter of O.F. Dorrance. To this union one son, Ross, was born. Both the widow and son survive.

About eight years ago Mr. Rainsburg was stricken with apoplexy and since that time had been unable to give any attention to business. Other attacks followed at infrequent intervals, the last one coming about four days prior to his death.

Mr. Rainsburg was very prominent in the business and social life of Brooklyn during his residence here, and all of his acquaintances were his friends. He was kind-hearted, generous and possessed of a most happy and cheerful disposition. He was a member of the local Knights of Pythias and I.O.O.F. lodges.--Brooklyn Chronicle
