OBITUARY

JAMES LESTER NORRIS

Services for James L. Norris, 55, of Euclid Ave., will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.

Mr. Norris died of a coronary occulsion Friday at home.

A native of Poweshiek County, Mr. Norris came to Des Moines from Grinnell 36 years ago. He operated the Standard Oil service station at Forty-second and Crocker streets.

Mr. Norris was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Holy Trinity Holy Name and the Dowling Club.

Surviving are his wife, *Josephine; two daughters, Mrs. Jane Irving, and Miss Flora Norris, and two sons, James F. Norris and Ronald Norris, all of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Leslie, Carlisle, and Mrs. Margaret Lause, Des Moines; one brother Jack Norris, Des Moines and five grandchildren.

The Rosary will be recired at 8 p.m. today at Caldwell-Brien Funeral Home.
