EARNEST R. MCANINCH

Services for Earnest R. McAninch, 67, of Weslaco, Texas, formerly of Montezuma and Des Moines who died of a heart attack Saturday in Weslaco, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at *Southtown Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. McAninch was born in Plano and lived in Des Moines for 15 years. He retired as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Des Moines. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local No. 234-C.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma; a son, Jerry of Montezuma; three brothers, Gene of Indianola, Rex of Carlisle and Richard of Des Moines; two sisters, Dorothy Hudson of Branson, MO and Bernice Campbell of Des Moines; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. today until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
