NAOMI CRAWFORD

Services for Naomi I. Crawford, 81, formerly of Rock Island, are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Esterdahl Mortuary Ltd., Moline. Burial is 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at North English Cemetery, North English, Iowa.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or to a favorite charity.

Mrs. Crawford died Sunday, Jan.21, 1996, at Aspenwood Health Care Center, Silvis.

The former Naomi VeVerka was born July 31, 1914, in Barnes City, the daughter of Earl N. and Gladys Boles VeVerka. She married Forrest Crawford April 8, 1935, in Wapello County, Iowa.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rock Island.

She enjoyed sewing and reading.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Janet Crawford, Des Moines, Iowa, Douglas C. Crawford, Colona, Terry and Diane Crawford, and Michael Crawford, both of Moline; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marjorie and Marvin Bunnell, Montezuma, Iowa, Jean and Howard Mohr, Victor, Iowa, and Ruth and Robert Landry, in California; and a brother and sister-in-law, Sylvan and Rachel VeVerka, Montezuma.
