MRS. SUSAN BRAINARD PASSES

Mrs. Susan Brainard, widow of the late Daniel Webster Brainard was found dead in her bed yesterday morning at about nine o'clock. She was 88 years and five months of age, and heart trouble was given as the cause of death. Mrs. Brainard had been a resident of Grinnell for sixty-two years.

No children survive though her nieces and nephews living are: Mrs. W.C. French, Mrs. Jo Rollins, Mrs. W.E. Chedister, Mrs. R.G. Hunter, Mrs. Roy Lower, Fred S. Kingdon, Floyd Kindgon and Frank and Walter Bahrenfuse.

Mrs. Brainard, while frail, had been in good health for one of her age. She was not ill the evening before she passed away.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home, 528 Broad street.
