James Wherry Johnston, who died recently, was one of the old timers in the county, having come with his parents 45 years ago. They settled on the home farm in the southeast corner of Lincoln township. Mr. Johnston was aged at the time of his death 57 years, 4 months and 5 days. He is survived by his wife and one young son, Cloyd, aged 7. Death was caused by cancer of the stomach.
