TRAGEDY STRIKES FOR SECOND TIME AT THE STANLEY HOME

For the second time in two years tragedy in the same form overwhelmed Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Stanley of Searsboro Sunday about noon when their little son Ernest, a little over a year old, met his death by drowning. It will be two years on Oct. 16 since the first child of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley, a little daughter 3 months old, met her death by drowning when she rolled from a table into a tub of water. Sunday little Ernest was playing in the yard. He was left unguarded only for about fifteen minutes, but then his body was found in a washboiler full of water. All efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. Mr. and Mrs. Stnaley have no other children. The heartbroken parents have the sympathy of the entire community in this second crushing bereavement.

Funeral services were held this afternoon in New Sharon with burial in the Stewart cemetery northwest of that place.
