MICHAEL LEWIS

Michael Wayne Lewis, 27, of Bremerhaven, Germany, formerly of Lynnville, died April 5 in Bremerhaven.

Graveside memorial services were conducted Friday afternoon at Woodland Cemetery in Lynnville, with the Rev. Tom Vanderwell of the Lynnville Friends Church officiating.

The Harden Funeral Home of New Sharon was in charge of arrangements.

The son of Robert Wayne and Rae A. Royce Lewis, he was born May 30, 1965, at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. He graduated from Gilbert High School, Gilbert, Ariz., in 1983. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1984 to 1988. Mr. Lewis had worked for Redden-Miller in Grinnell before moving to Germany March 31 of this year.

Surviving are his parents and maternal grandmother, Izola Royce of Newton. His fiance, Christine Mehrtens, resides in Bremerhaven.
