OBITUARY

Barney Fields was born in Ohio July 22, 1836, died March 27, 1921, age 84 years, 8 months and 5 days. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Fields. In 1860 he married Susan Keysor; to this union were born four children, Arthur of Iowa, Rosa of Goshen, George of Wakarusa and Sadie who died Dec. 1919. The wife and mother having preceded him to the spirit world in 1909, he also leaves three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He came to Indiana in the early sixties, remaining a few years then going to Iowa, returning here in 1913 where he lived the remainder of his life in and around Wakarusa.
