ROLAND PRICE

Funeral services were held April 26 at the Waubeck United Methodist church for Roland Price, 67, of Central City, a former Brooklyn resident.

Rev. Paul Figge of Newhall officiated at the 1 p.m. rites. Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. at the I.O.O.F. cemetery, Brooklyn.

Born the son of John and Zella Halstead Price, May 14, 1901 at Thayer, Nebr., Mr. Price died April 23, in his Central City home.

Dec. 17, 1923 he was married to Naomi Norris at Bellville, Kans. They were the parents of ten children. Prior to moving to Central City he had farmed near Brooklyn. Mr. Price was a member of the Brooklyn Presbyterian church and the Odd Fellows lodge.

Preceded in death by a son, Robert, and a daughter, Margaret, he is survived by his wife; five sons, Jerry of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Henry of Beeville, Tex.; Donald of Marion, Larry of Gulfport, Miss.; and Richard of Central City; three daughters, Mrs. Thane Chase of Cambrillo, Md.; Mrs. Norman Topping of Aurora, Colo., and Mrs. Forrest Farris of Marion.

Other survivors include a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Betty Price of Brooklyn; one brother, Kenneth Price of Powell, Wyo.; three sisters, Mrs. Harold Windfield of Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Doris Paschke of Aurora, Nebr. and Mrs. O.D. Kratzer of Lincoln, Nebr.; and 25 grandchildren.
