CLAUDE V. NAYLOR DIES HERE MONDAY; SERVICES FRIDAY

Claude V. Naylor passed away Monday evening at his home at 1126 Ann St. here.

The son of William H. and Mary Sarah Vestal Naylor, he was born on September 7, 1882 at Bluepoint Community southeast of Grinnell. Until his retirement Naylor was employed by the Postal Telegraph Company.

He was a member of the local Methodist church and a past member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Grinnell.

Naylor is survived by his son, Harold of Belle Plaine; his grandson, Conger; and two sisters: Mrs. Adah Fry and Mrs. Agnes Priddy, both of Denver, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Naylor will be Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the James-Schalinske Funeral Home. Rev. Chester E. Custer will officiate and interment will be in the Bluepoint cemetery.
