RITES HELD FOR AILEEN ISBELL

Aileen Ruth Isbell, 50, of New Hope, Minn., a native of Searsboro, died Friday, Dec. 19, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minn.

Funeral services were conducted on Dec. 22 at the Watts Funeral Home in Montezuma, with the Rev. Kenneth Santee, pastor of the Friends Church of Lynnville, officiating. Burial was at 2 p.m. Dec. 23 at Woodland Cemetery, Lynnville.

The daughter of Cecil and Pansy Gerard Arthur, she was born on Sept. 20, 1936, near Searsboro. She graduated from Searsboro High School. On April 4, 1986, she was married to Gene Isbell at Mesa, Ariz. Mrs. Isbell was a licensed practical nurse.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, Rahn Savage of Lynnville, Rodney Savage of Panora and Bart Shaw of Winston-Salem, N.C.; six grandchildren; five sisters, Margaret Stemsrud of Montezuma, Betty Lash of Chevy Chase, Md., Eva McDowell of Searsboro, Doris Lowry of Grinnell and Shirley Tice of Lamoni; and two brothers, Kenneth and Ward Arthur, both of Lebanon, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Charles Savage Jr.; and two brothers, Robert and Keith Arthur.
